How long does it take to stain a deck?

The deck staining process is usually a 2 day process depending on the size of the deck. First day is to clean the wood surfaces and on second day when it dries up, we have to sand the wood and apply the stain.

What Stains Are Best for Wood Deck?

We recommend Oil Based Semi- Transparent Stains for combination of best finish and protection. For Old Decks Water Based Stains can be an affordable option.

My Deck is 5 Years Old. Can you Clean and Seal it.

Yes. We use propriety 3 step cleaning process to clean and brighten the deck and then apply a stain and seal combo to ensure the wood surfaces is protected for years.

How soon can I use my deck after staining?

Light foot traffic: 24 hours. Furniture: 48-72 hours.

My Deck was Stained previously. What is the process to restain the deck?

Depends on what stain was used previously. Water based stains needs to be stripped and brighten before apply a new stain on it. Oil based stains can be cleaned with simpler process and re-stain with same or darker colors without problems.

Can you match previous stain colors?

Yes, with our water based stain we are able to get pretty close to the previously stained colors.

Deep Deck Cleaning

We start by soaking your deck with a professional cleaning solution that lifts mold, mildew, and deep-set grime to the surface. Using low-pressure washing, we gently rinse the wood clean—protecting the fibers while fully removing contaminants that can cause premature stain failure.

Surface Prep & Sanding

After the wood fully dries (usually the next day), we sand all required surfaces to smooth raised grain and open the pores for better stain absorption. We then remove all dust and debris and carefully mask surrounding areas, ensuring clean lines and a flawless staining finish.

Professional Stain Application

Depending on access and surface conditions, we brush or spray the stain in two layers to ensure uniform coverage and maximum wood protection.

Singh did a great job with our fence! It’s a newer fence 1-2 years old and was already starting to turn gray. He cleaned the fence like new and the next day applied a clear stain/sealer. We live in a townhouse and have a shorter fence which for some companies is too small a job. Our estimate was appropriate for the size of the job. We will hire Singh again.
